on site survey of Mt. Whitney (Elev. 14,480')
The study was begun after Mrs. Dukakis
determined that the Mount Whitney was "ugly"
and failed to conform to accessibility guidelines
in the Americans w/ Disabilities Act.
Plans call for the site to be bulldozed,
thus making the majestic mountain into a molehill.
Officials have already approved construction
of UCLA off-site meterd parking lots
and much needed extra storage space for the Dukakis' egos.
